Shyla Angela Prasad is Miss Earth Fiji 2015

Shyla Angela Prasad has been crowned as Miss Earth Fiji 2015 in a ceremony held on October 5. The 20-year-old and 5'8" beauty will represent Fiji in the upcoming Miss Earth pageant to be held on December 5 at Marx Halle in Vienna, Austria.

Shyla is currently studying law and Business at University and previously studied Drama and Theatre   at MLC School Burwood. She is versatile and can speak 5 different languages - English, Hindi, French, Japanese and Fijian. She works as a model and also own a charity organization called LARN (Love Animals Respect Nature). Australian-based Shyla had previously competed at Miss World Australia pageant but was unsuccessful. Shyla is a trained Bollywood, Ballet, Contemporary and Disco dancer. She has participated in various fashion shows in Australia as well

Fiji has participated at Miss Earth pageant for only three times. Minal Maneesha Ali first participated in 2007 and then Esther Cheyanne Foss competed in 2012 while in 2014 Zoe McCraken became the country’s representative
