Hillarie Danielle Parungao was crowned Miss World Philippines 2015 at the conclusion of the national grand finale held on 18 October 2015 at Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City. She is 24 years old and 5'4 tall beauty queen from Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. She defeated 25 other contestants to be crowned by the outgoing queen Valerie Weigmann who finished as Top 25 in Miss World 2014 pageant. Hillarie will now represent Philippines at Miss World 2015 that will take place on December 19 in Sanya, China.

Hillarie is a nursing graduate and model who was previously the country’s representative for last year’s Miss Asia Pacific World pageant where she finished third runner-up. She runs an NGO called KATUWANG: Fight Against Child Mortality. She believes there are no barriers to success. When talent coupled with hard work, good work ethics, and lots of prayers from family and friends, and there is no limit to what doors will open!

Hillarie didn't only win the Miss World Philippines 2015 title but also won 9 awards (4 special awards & 5 sponsor awards). Her court include Marita Cassandra Naidas (1RU), Mia Allyson Howell (2RU), Vanessa Wright (3RU) and Emma Mary Tiglao (4RU).

Philippines made its debut at Miss World in the year 1966 Vivian Lee Austria represented Philippines at Miss World 1966 in London. Philippines has success stories in the last 4 years since its franchise has been taken over by Cory Quirino, a Filipino tri-media personality from Binibining Pilipinas. The first delegate in 2011, Gwendoline Ruais finished as 1RU at the Miss World 2011 pageant while Queneerich Rehman of 2012 dropped to Top 15 but in 2013, it marked d highest title of Miss World 2013 courtesy of Megan Young. Last years's representative, Valerie Clacio Weigmann finished as Top 25. .
